In Order to start the process of installing the apps/game in windows 8 you must and should need Internet connect ,Microsoft account (which is free). Once you have both then you can go ahead to the store , search for the apps you needed and install them. The apps/games are stored in C Drive,if you want to uninstall the game/app go to the menu then right click on the app/game to uninstall.
